Michelle comes with many years of experience and expertise as a trained singer and actor and thrives on sharing her learning with others, regardless of age.
Voice
Regardless of your ability, age, whether you want to audition for a professional show or just sing for the pure joy of singing at home, Michelle will create a program to best suit your needs.
Technical development including breathing, diaphragmatic support, diction, phrasing and voice physiology are vital to enabling you to find your true voice and are the vocal building blocks Michelle will help you master.
Her acting experience will also be brought to bear, helping you to take ownership of every song you sing, making every performance your own.
Whether it is jazz, pop, rock or choral, Michelle will provide private tuition at her studio and use her 20 plus years of extensive teaching experience to help you find your voice.

Acting
There is so much more to acting than just becoming someone different. Michelle will spend time encouraging aspiring actors to be themselves and allow their own creativity to emerge.
The beautiful thing about acting is that there is no right or wrong or sense of expectation, so allowing actors to be heard, their opinions considered and for them to become part of the creative process.
Lesson content will be more than broadening acting skills, but developing each person's voice, confidence, language skills, team work, character development, improvisation and creativity, all through exercises, scenarios and short scenes from scripts.

30 Minute session - $45
School lunchtime sessions are currently available at Stirling East Primary School. Young actors will develop acting and stagecraft in small groups with the aim of an end of semester performance.
A semester fee of $180 will apply and includes tuition, scripts, basic costumes, sets, props and staged performance. Register your young actor below.

Audition Preparation
Auditions can be a little overwhelming especially if are new to this process. Your audition has to be just as good if not better than the final performance, as this is what will win you the part or job.
Michelle has been auditioning for many years in theatre, musical theatre, film and television and has attended many training sessions as well as running her own audition workshops. There are some basic fundamentals which can be easily worked on and put into place for each audition, but each audition has its own specific requirements.
Michelle can guide you in finding the best and most appropriate audition material, whether it be songs for a musical or a monologue for a play. Time will also be spent on handling nerves, your fears and making the most of the time in the room. She will then take you through each aspect of your preparation to ensure that you are confident, capable and performing at your best.
Sessions are made by appointment and it is recommended that preparation is started at least two weeks before your audition.
Initial 60 minute session - $90
Further 45 minute sessions - $70
