What's next for Michelle... Limelight Theatrics has become a new focus for Michelle - with either extreme theatre experiences or lunchtime Actor's Club at Adelaide schools.
Limelight Theatrics was born out of the desire to inspire and help young actors to craft their acting, social, teamwork skills and build confidence in themselves.
The Extreme Theatre experience is for those who are keen for an intense 24 hours of learning, shaping and performing a play. Young people can either be onstage or part of the creative team bringing set, props and costumes to life. Limelight Theatrics is made up of theatre professionals supporting these young people through every step of the way, imparting their knowledge and expertise to inspire and challenge. Further information can be found here.
Actor's Club has been established at Stirling East Primary School and there are hopes to expand the concept across other primary school in the Adelaide. It all happens at lunchtime during school terms, divided into age appropriate groups and over two terms acting skills are developed to culminate in a performance for family and friends. If you know of a school that would love to add this to their school's extra-curricula program then please email Michelle here.
